HTC appears to be working on a new mid-range handset called Desire 620, if details seen in a purported NCC (Taiwan's FCC equivalent) document are to be believed.

The NCC has reportedly approved two variants of the as-yet-unannounced Desire 620 handset, namely Desire 620h and Desire 620u. While the former features 3G connectivity, the latter appears to be the 4G version of the handset.

The Desire 620u and Desire 620h handsets were reportedly also listed to feature dual-SIM functionality, as first reported by VR Zone (via GSMArena).

Going by the name of the device, the Desire 620 handsets seems to be the successor to the recently launched Desire 610 handset, unveiled earlier this year. The handsets are also said to feature specifications similar to the Desire 616. The purported NCC documents will likely debut in China first followed by other markets.

HTC last month was also reported to be working on the Desire 816h and Desire 820us handsets. Both the unannounced HTC Desire D816h and Desire 820us handsets were seen listed on Tenaa, China's equivalent of the FCC, along with some key specifications.

The unannounced HTC Desire D816h, as per the specifications listed on Tenaa, seems to be very similar to the already launched Desire 816, except that the latter bears a more powerful 13-megapixel rear camera, 1.5GB of RAM instead of 1GB, and a slower quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor.

Meanwhile, the unannounced HTC Desire 820us appears to be a variant of the popular Desire 820, except that it packs a MediaTek processor instead of the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 on the original.
