Huawei Terminal's Honor brand has launched the Honor 5C in India, priced at Rs. 10,999. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart and HiHonor.com in its first flash sale at June 30, with registrations opening at 2pm Wednesday. It comes with a 15-month warranty, and screen replacement warranty for the first month.

3G-enabled variant alongside. The Honor 5C in India also retains the fingerprint sensor, unlike the European variant, which was launched earlier this week.

The smartphone was
launched in China back in April. The dual-SIM Honor 5C supports Micro-SIM cards with 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM cards. The Chinese company touts that the handset supports LTE Cat. 6 which means it can support download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display, and is powered by the company's in-house HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz + 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2GHz). The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The Honor 5C sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It also sports an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. The rear panel of the Honor 5C also sports the fingerprint scanner.
Apart from 4G, the smartphone supports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The smartphone comes with regular Micro-USB charging port. It measures 147.1x73.8x8.3mm and weighs 156 grams. It packs a 3000mAh battery. The Honor 5C runs Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
