The Honor 5C is set to launch in India on Wednesday at an event starting at 11am IST. For now, pricing and availability information is not available. The 4G-enabled smartphone is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,250) in China, and it should be available at roughly the same price point in India. A 3G variant was also launched in China.

Honor 5C and
Honor 5C LTE both feature a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS LCD display. The dual-SIM smartphone support Micro-SIM cards and the Honor 5C LTE comes with 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM card. The Chinese company touts that the handset supports LTE Cat. 6 which means it can support download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
It is powered by the company's in-house HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (clocked at 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.7GHz + 4x Cortex-A53 at 2GHz). The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The Honor 5C sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It also sports an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. The rear panel of the Honor 5C also sports the fingerprint scanner.
Apart from 4G, the smartphone supports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The smartphone comes with regular Micro-USB charging port. It measures 147.1x73.8x8.3mm and weighs 156 grams. It packs a 3000mAh battery. The Honor 5C runs Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
