Google has updated its mobile home page to make recently searched items more accessible. Called "Recent", it conveniently displays all the information that you recently googled. This would be especially handy when you, say, use the desktop to look for directions to a place, and then need to revisit them on your mobile on the way.

Google's announcement seems to indicate the feature is limited to iOS and Android mobiles.

To fully utilize this convenient feature, you'll have to be logged onto your Google Account on all devices and web history must be enabled on your Google account.

The one drawback is that web history is available for use for only about 24 hours after you have synced it.

We tried to test out the feature for ourselves, but it seems it hasn't been rolled out to every user as yet.
