Google is rolling out an update for their Android Gingerbread OS and it will arrive first on the Samsung Nexus S and Nexus One smart-phones. The Samsung Nexus S will get the much awaited voice and video chat update to the Google Talk application and Nexus One will get bug fixes.
Through the Google Talk update users will be able to make video calls over Wi-Fi, 4G and 3G.
Update timeframes for other devices were not announced. Google has always released the Android updates first on the Nexus devices which provide a stock Google experience sans the Android skins provided by companies like HTC and Samsung.
