The evidence was further cemented by a developer, who hacked the Play Store APK, and shared the screenshots of both the features in working.
It is likely that Google will soon start selling the gift cards in its Play Store and these would be applicable on Books, Magazines, Movies, Music, TV shows and Apps purchases similar to what Apple does with iTunes gift cards. Google may also include the support for Chrome web store.
The second feature wish list seems like the other good old internet wish lists and will allow Android users add applications, magazine and other Play Store content that they wish to purchase.
We won't go in the technical evidence of both these features, which includes the presence of new icons, layout resources and changes to Android manifest.
There is no word about the exact availability of these features or how they will be rolled-out, but we hope to hear something very soon.
