Citibank has partnered with Google to offer a cashback of up to Rs. 10,000 on the purchase of Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones from Flipkart and select offline stores. According to the offer, Rs. 8,000 cashback is valid on Pixel 2 64GB and 128GB variants, and Rs. 10,000 cashback is valid on Pixel 2 XL 64GB and 128GB variants. The offer is applicable on EMI and non-EMI transactions done through Citibank credit and debit cards, except Citi Corporate credit cards. Validity of the offer is from February 12 to February 28. Cashback will be credited within 90 business days of purchase.
With the Citibank offer, the Google Pixel 2 (64GB) gets an effective price of Rs. 41,999, down from its current MOP of Rs. 49,999 on Flipkart. Similarly, users can also buy the Pixel 2 (128GB) for an effective price of Rs. 50,999, down from its MOP of Rs. 58,999. Alternatively, the Google Pixel 2 XL (64GB) can be effectively bought for Rs. 54,999, down from a Flipkart price of Rs. 64,999, and the Pixel 2 XL (128GB) now has an effective price of Rs. 63,999, down from the its usual MOP of Rs. 73,999 on Flipkart. It is valid for Clearly White, Just Black, and Kinda Blue colour variants of the Pixel 2, and Black & White and Just Black variants of the Pixel 2 XL.
The offer is also applicable on select offline stores; the entire list can be found here. Do note that the offline offer "is applicable on transactions done via 'Brand EMI' channel on Plutus/Pine Labs POS terminals only." Additionally, customers will have to retain the charge slip that mentions cashback details.
Just to recap, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were launched in India in November 2017. Since then, we have seen numerous price cuts and cashback offers on Google's current flagship phones.
