Gionee on Monday launched the X1 smartphone in India, featuring a fingerprint sensor, 3000mAh battery, and dedicated microSD card slot. The Gionee X1 price in India is Rs. 8,999, and it is now available to purchase via offline retailers. The Chinese smartphone company has announced several launch offers with the X1 as well, and it will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.
Launch offers on the Gionee X1 include one for Airtel subscribers (new or existing) where they receive up to 10GB additional data per month for up to 6 successive recharges. Separately, Gionee X1 buyers will get two Patym cashback voucher codes entitling them to Rs. 250 cashback on a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 on Paytm Mall.
The dual-SIM Gionee X1 runs Amigo 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat, and it sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC that's coupled with 2GB of RAM. Optics on the smartphone include an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash, apart from an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Gionee X1 features 16GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) which as we mentioned has a dedicated slot. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It has dimensions of 144.3x72.2x8.8mm.
