Indian handsets maker Lava has launched another Xolo branded handset in the Indian market. Dubbed as the Lava Xolo A700, this is a dual-SIM (3G+3G) smartphone, which is now retailing on Flipkart.com for Rs. 9,999.
Lava had earlier launched Xolo X900, which was the first smartphone powered by an Intel processor. However, the Xolo A700 is powered by 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Lava Xolo A700 comes with a 4-inch screen and qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display. It comes with 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash at the rear and a VGA front camera. The back camera is also capable of 720p HD video recording. Other features include 512 MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a 1,700mAh battery.

This smartphone will be competing with the recently launched Karbonn A21 on one level and Micromax's Canvas 2 A110 on the other. While Karbonn A21 sports a 4.5-inch qHD display, Micromax Canvas 2 A110 comes with a 5-inch LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Both Karbonn A21 and Micromax Canvas 2 A110 are retailing at a best buy price of approximately Rs. 10,000.
