The CyanogenMod Team has officially added support for the Google Nexus 6, Android One devices, and LG G3 (international model D855).
The
news of the addition of three new devices broke out just few days after The CyanogenMod Team pushed out the first CyanogenMod 12 nightlies based on Android
5.0.2 Lollipop to around 30 devices.
Android Police points that currently the Android One builds are experimental. It notes,
"Android One devices, owing to the control over software and hardware
that Google has in that program, share a single ROM under codename
sprout."
"We have been told that nightlies will be on the way
within days from now," it added. Google Nexus 6 (also known as Shamu) is
receiving the first CyanogenMod build and will come with addition of
CyanogenMod 12 nightlies. LG's flagship G3 smartphone also received its
first CM build with CyanogenMod 12 nightlies. For the uninitiated, a
nightly build is a neutral build that takes place automatically, while a
neutral build is one that reflects the current state of the source code
being worked on by developers.
