Bengaluru-based mobility firm Creo has released the June software update for its Mark 1 smartphone. The June update for the Creo Mark 1 brings audio enhancements.

At launch in April, Creo promised that the Mark 1, priced at Rs. 19,999, running the proprietary Fuel OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop would receive new features every month in the form of over-the-air updates and keeping the promise the company has released the second monthly update.

The new update features new customisable audio effects which will allow users to natively change sound effects, across apps and system software.

Announcing the new update, Sai Srinivas, CEO and Co-Founder, Creo, said "Audio has become integral to the modern day smartphone user - from music and movies to sound effects in games. When the feature suggestion came from our active community in Creo forums, we realized we must build a universal and seamless solution to tuning music in Fuel OS, applicable for all apps and customizable to your output. With this update, we believe audio will never be the same on Fuel OS, starting this June."

With the new update, the audio effects in Fuel OS will now sport five presets namely Balanced, Acoustic, Bass Boost, 3D Surround Sound, and Clear Voice. Users can also save an audio setting as 'Custom Audio Effects' to work across apps and beyond.

Last month's software update for Fuel OS on Creo Mark 1 smartphone brought five new features including Enhance, Data Manager, and Selfie Flash, as well as an upgrade to the existing Sense and Echo features along with overall performance enhancements.
