Coolpad launched its Note 3 budget smartphone in October at Rs. 8,999. However, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially slashed the handset's price by Rs. 500, dropping it to Rs. 8,499.
The Note 3 is available to buy exclusively from Amazon India till stocks last. The Chinese smartphone maker says this move is because the handset has been continuously voted no.1 in the sub-Rs. 10K category.
The dual-SIM Coolpad Note 3 runs Cool UI 6.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display with viewing angle up to 178 degrees. Under-the-hood it is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone houses 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB).
The Coolpad Note 3 includes 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5 Element HD Lens, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery, and features a 360-degree finger rotation sensor.
