As expected, Coolpad has launched the Mega 3 and Note 3S smartphones in India. The smartphones are priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999, and will be sold from December 7 exclusively on Amazon India. The big highlight of the Coolpad Mega 3 smartphone is that it dons triple-SIM slots and comes with VoLTE support. The Note 3S, on the other hand, sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Beginning with the Coolpad Mega 3, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1080 pixels) IPS display with 269ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage with the option to expand it further via microSD slot (up to 64GB).
The Coolpad Mega 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and packs a 3050mAh battery to keep it powered on. Coolpad claims that the battery can lasts up to 200 hours when the device is in standby mode. As for the optics, the smartphone sports a 8-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and f/2.2 aperture. The front camera of the Coolpad Mega 3 also sports a 8-megapixel sensor for video chats and selfies, and comes with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera has 80.1 degree field of view.
Connectivity options on the Coolpad Mega 3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, and triple-SIM slots. The dimensions are at 154.4x76.8x8.35mm and the smartphone weighs 170.5 grams. It will be made available in Gold, Grey, and White colour options.

The Coolpad Note 3S features a similar 5.5-inch HD (720x1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D screen protection. It is powered by the 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage with the option to expand further via a microSD slot (up to 32GB). Both the smartphones support OTG.
The Coolpad Note 3S runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based of Cool UI 8.0. Optics include a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and f/2.2 aperture. There's a 5-megapixel selfie camera with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture as well. It packs a 2500mAh battery that claims to last up to 200 hours on standby. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, and dual-SIM slots.

The dimensions of the Coolpad Note 3S are 154.5x77x8.6mm and the Note 3S weighs 167 grams. It will be made available in Gold and White colour options. Apart from the fingerprint sensor at the back, the smartphone also houses an accelerometer, magnetic sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor.
