Coolpad M3 is the company's latest smartphone and has been silently launched in China. While the phone is not listed on Coolpad's official Chinese website yet, it will be sold in China, via JD.com, from Wednesday in two seemingly gradient colour options. Coolpad M3 price is set at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,100) for the sole 4GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage variant. The phone is up for pre-orders on JD.com in China and will go on sale starting
10am CST (7:30am IST) on November 28 in the country. The phone will be sold in Blue Sea and Gentleman colour options.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Coolpad M3 runs Android, and sports a 5.85-inch (720x1512 pixels) display with an 18.9:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Storage on the phone is expandable via microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Coolpad M3 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensing lens, coupled with an LED flash. On the front, the handset bears a single 5-megapixel selfie camera with native beauty mode and certain AI features. There is a 2,800mAh battery under the hood, with support for 5W charging.
Connectivity options on the Coolpad M3 include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, GPS, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard the phone include accelerometer, electronic compass, gyroscope, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the handset are 149.8x72.3x8.95mm and weight is 171 grams.
