Celkon has launched two new budget smartphones - the Millennium Elite Q470 and Millennium Power Q3000 - under the company's new Millennium range.

The Celkon Millennium Elite Q470 has been launched at Rs. 11,999 and will be available starting Wednesday, while the Millennium Power Q3000 will be available at Rs. 8,999 beginning July 21. Celkon also announced the two smartphones will be available online exclusively at Snapdeal, though they will also be available through regular retail channels.

The Millennium Elite Q470 is a dual-SIM smartphone and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display. The display also sports One Glass Solution (OGS) technology.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Millennium Elite Q470 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, while it also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device also includes an 1800mAh Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 140 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, and 3G. The Millennium Elite Q470 measures 138.4x68.8x8.3mm and weighs 137 grams.

The dual-SIM Celkon Millennium Power Q3000, on the other hand, also runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM.

Other specifications of the Millennium Power Q3000 include a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display; 4GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support up to 32GB (via microSD card); 8-megapixel rear camera; 1.3-megapixel front camera, and 3G. The smartphone packs 3000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 375 hours of standby time on 3G networks.

Earlier, Celkon launched its first and also India's cheapest Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone, the Campus A35K, at Rs. 2,999.
