Celkon appears set to launch an upgraded version of its Millennia ME Q54, the Millennia ME Q54+. The smartphone is now available to buy via e-commerce site a discounted price of Rs. 5,399, with an MRP separately listed at Rs. 5,829.
As per the e-commerce site listing, the Celkon Millennia ME Q54+ is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The handset features a 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unspecified) coupled with 1GB of RAM.
It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Celkon Millennia ME Q54+ sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while the front-facing camera also sports a 5-megapixel sensor, like its predecessor.
On the connectivity front, the Celkon Millennia ME Q54+ offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, FM radio, GPS and Bluetooth options.

The Celkon Millennia ME Q54+ packs a 2000mAh battery, which as per the listing delivers up to 30 hours and 12 hours of talk time on 2G and 3G respectively. The device measures 168x83x8.5mm, weighs 105 grams, and is available in White colour from Homeshop 18. The smartphone also features dual front-facing speakers.
Celkon earlier this month launched its new budget smartphone in India, the Millennia Q5K Power, priced at Rs. 5,222. The highlight of the Celkon Millennia Q5K Power is its large 5000mAh battery. To compare, Gionee's Marathon M3 smartphone was launched last year featuring 5000mAh battery and was priced at Rs. 12,999. Another similar smartphone is the Lava Iris Fuel 20, which features a 4400mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 5,399.
