The all new smartphone from Celkon will join the Campus portfolio which already includes Campus A10, Campus A20 and Campus A63.
The Celkon Campus A15 features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixel) display and is said to be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, though the chipset has not been revealed. It includes 256MB of RAM and comes with 512MB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. It sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with no flash. The Celkon Campus A15 is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM. The device packs a 1400mAh battery and connectivity options available in the device are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE and Micro-USB.
Earlier this month, Celkon Mobiles launched its first AR Rahman-themed smartphone, the AR45, under the RahmanIshq series for Rs. 7,999. It features 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A7 MediaTek processor. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and supports dual-SIM with dual standby. It comes with 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera alongside an LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It comes with 512MB of RAM and includes 4GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Prior to this, Celkon also launched three smartphones for the Indian market, namely, the Celkon Monalisa ML-5, Signature Swift A112 and Campus A10.
