US-based smartphone maker Blu has unveiled the Life One X2 in the US. The new smartphone will be available for pre-orders via Amazon from Thursday in its Gun Metal Grey colour variant, and will be priced at $149.99 (approximately Rs. 10,000) for the unlocked version featuring 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The shipments of the smartphone are expected to arrive in the first week of October. There will another 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs. 13,500). Blu will also launch the Rose Gold colour of the Blu Life One X2 smartphone which will go on sale in November.
Featuring a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels), the Blu Life One X2 comes with a pixel density of 424ppi and curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 GPU. Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the dual-SIM Blu Life One X2 will support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone sports all-metal build and embeds the fingerprint scanner in the home button.
It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, full-HD video recording, f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front camera on board as well with LED flash. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, USB Type-C, FM radio, and 4G.
The Life One X2 smartphone comes with support for 4G LTE and is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, and other networks. The company as of now has not revealed availability details for the smartphone outside the US. The Life One X2 is backed by a 3000mAh battery and measures 148x72.4x9.5mm. The smartphone also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
