New pictures of what is said to be a low-priced BlackBerry 10 smartphone have appeared online.

BlackBerry focused website, Berryflow.com has published two images that it claimed it received from an anonymous tipster who said that the phone will be called the Z5, suggesting that it would be the budget version of the BlackBerry Z10. The pictures could be fake, however, one of them shows the edge of the phone in good detail.

The first image shows a full touch phone in White casing which looks wider than the Z10, and its corners appear to be more rounded than the first BlackBerry 10 handset. Just like its predecessor, the handset doesn't have any physical keys on the front. The picture that depicts the edges shows a chrome frame surrounding the front of the phone.

Recently, we heard that the company is working on a new all-touch flagship model, the BlackBerry A10. It was reported that BlackBerry will be looking at launching the A10 around November in time for the holiday season. The BlackBerry A10 is likely to be the successor of BlackBerry Z10 and will "occupy the highest tier". Post the launch of BlackBerry A10, BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 will be become "mid-tier" smartphones. It's interesting to note that a previous report had indicated that US carrier Sprint which had chosen to skip the BlackBerry Z10, would launch a full touch device that would be the successor to the Z10 in the second half of the year. That device might turn out to be the A10.

It's worth pointing out that BlackBerry had announced the BlackBerry Q5, the budget version of the Q10 at BlackBerry World, last month. Last year, there was another rumour that BlackBerry would release six BlackBerry 10 devices, so we won't be surprised if the rumour surrounding the Z5 turns out to be true as we'd expect BlackBerry to launch an entry-level full-touch device with the BlackBerry 10 operating system.
