Crackberry has posted new images that show the yet to be announced BlackBerry Z30 phone pictured alongside the company's flagship touchscreen smartphone Z10 and the most affordable BlackBerry 10 device, the Q5.
The images clearly reveal why BlackBerry Z30 formerly dubbed as the A10, is hyped to be the next big thing from the company. The Z30 features the biggest display on a BlackBerry device launched till now.
The image shows three devices, BlackBerry Z30, Z10 and Q5 kept side-by-side with the display of the alleged BlackBerry Z30 and Z10 switched on while the BlackBerry Q5's display is turned off. The image reveals that the smartphone's screen will display 5 rows of icons and not just 4 much like the BlackBerry Z10. The image of the rear panel of the BlackBerry Z10 and the alleged Z30 show that the latter will feature a textured back.
Rumoured specifications of the BlackBerry Z30 include a 5-inch display. It is likely to be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno graphics. The device is said to feature a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device is expected to include an 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and a 2.0-megapixel front shooter. It is likely to be backed by a 2800mAH battery. It might come with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 64GB with the help of a microSD card. The BlackBerry Z30 is also most likely to run BlackBerry OS 10.2.
On Monday, we reported about purported images of BlackBerry Z15 and Z30 leaking online. The images of the Z30 showed a full touchscreen device. The device sports rounded edges and is pictured running the BlackBerry OS 10 operating system.
While the other smartphone, rumoured to be the BlackBerry Z15 featured a slider that reveals a physical keyboard much like the BlackBerry Torch series smartphones. The BlackBerry Z15 is expected to be a touchscreen device, as well.
