The BlackBerry Q10 on the other hand comes with 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen and the traditional QWERTY keyboard for which BlackBerry has been known for. It has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It also has an 8-megapixel shooter on board and a bigger 2,100mAh battery.
BlackBerry Z10 is the smartphone that will go on sale first. As we had reported earlier, this device is expected to debut in Canada on February 5, 2013 for 650 Canadian dollars. However with a three year contract one can get it for roughly 150 Canadian dollars. The smartphone will be available in China also starting February 5.
In United Kingdom, this device is already available and one will have to shell out 480 pounds for an unlocked device. Middle-east, which is a significant market for BlackBerry will be getting BlackBerry Z10 from February 10 for 2,599 AED.
Various news report suggests that BlackBerry Z10 will be launched in India also around mid-February. Keeping in mind the pricing trends for this smartphone all over the world, we estimate that in India it will be priced between Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 37,000.
According to the company, BlackBerry Z10 smartphone will start retailing in United States by mid-March. The BlackBerry Q10 on the other hand is expected to be available in the market from April 2013.
In the earlier reports it was indicated that the BlackBerry will be launching at least six new devices running on the new BlackBerry 10 OS, it will be interesting to see when the company plans to launch the rest of the devices.
