The BlackBerry 'Q20' Classic, one of the much-anticipated smartphones by the Canadian smartphone maker that was announced back at MWC and reconfirmed for a 2014 launch by John Chen, has once again been leaked in a bunch of new images flaunting its curved edges, keypads, back panel, screen and more.
Virtually no specifications of the BlackBerry Classic are mentioned alongside the 20 images leaked by Smart Mania website (via Crackberry). However two images reveal the weight (179 grams) and the support for BlackBerry Blend, which was launched alongside the BlackBerry Passport (Review | Images) smartphone in September.
Also, the BlackBerry Classic handset in the leaked images is seen to sport a lock button and two volume buttons on the right-side bezel, while featuring ports for the SIM card and microSD card on the left side. Two speakers were seen at the bottom, along with a charging port placed in the middle.
Notably, the leaked images of the anticipated BlackBerry Classic are in-line with N4BB's Tuesday report which also leaked some purported images of the Classic. This second set of images also showed all sides of the handset, while the report also listed detailed specifications of the smartphone.
As per the website, the BlackBerry Classic will feature a 3.46-inch display with a resolution of 720x720 pixels, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 128GB), an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1515mAh battery.
BlackBerry might also soon unveil the Gold Edition of its Passport smartphone, as it was seen in some leaked images earlier this month. The business smartphone's Gold Edition has seen in 3 purported images flaunting golden side bezels (including the power and volume buttons) unlike the otherwise single-coloured Passport handset - available in Piano Black and Porcelain White.
