This voice command feature was a part of an update for the BB10 Dev Alpha devices and one can access the same by pressing the voice command button, which is in between the two volume buttons. Currently, it seems that this service is in early stages and does not offer much functionality. However, it seems that the voice on the BB10 personal assistant is very similar to Siri and there could be a possibility that Nuance would be powering it.
The BlackBerry maker has already indicated that its much awaited BlackBerry 10 devices will not be hitting the shelves before Q1 2013 and had recently updated the tools it is providing for independent developers to build applications.
Earlier in the month, Research in Motion had accepted that it will be adding video chat feature to its popular BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) Service. Additionally, it is expected that the new OS will BB OS 10 will come with some sort of a screen share feature, that will let users share the contents of their screen with the person at the other end of a call.
