The ZenPower power bank features a 10050mAh capacity and will be directly competing against the likes of Xiaomi's Mi 10400mAh Power Bank that was launched last year and is priced even lower.

The portable charger is rated to charge smartphones with battery capacity of 1500mAh, 2000mAh, 2500mAh and 3000mAh, up to 4 times, 3 times, 2.5 times and 2 times respectively. The device can also charge tablets with battery capacity of 4000mAh, 4500mAh and 5000mAh up to 1.5 times, 1.2 times and 1.1 times, as per the firm.

Asus adds the power bank features 11 layers of protection and one extra layer of tactile toughness, which is soft to touch and prevents the Asus ZenPower from scratches and sudden impacts. The device features Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, which have an input power of DC 5V 2.0A and output power of DC 5.1V 2.4A. The power bank measures 90.5x59x l22mm and weighs 215 grams.

"The Asus ZenPower not only offers superlative functionalities but also focuses on the aesthetic aspects. The aluminium outer casing contributes to the beauty and strength of the device and its ergonomic feel. It lends a smooth, premium finish that gives it a luxurious look," said Arnold Su - Product Manager - Mobile Accessories, Asus India of the launch.
