The company also revealed the detailed changelog of the firmware updates for the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6, including enhanced third-party app compatibility, improved stability of the system UI, as well as an increase in the brightness of the LED flash while clicking pictures.

The changelog also lists other improvements for the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 smartphones, namely enhancements to Beautification mode effects that will now automatically beautify images clicked with front camera and also beautify images faster; a new quick edit button on the contact card, and support for transferring multiple files.

In addition to the above mentioned enhancements, the Asus ZenFone 5 user will also get some other goodies such as adjusted front camera skin tone in beauty mode; added support of image's location details in Gallery for CN SKU; new settings UI of screen wakeup selection when receiving messages; hide PC Link, and a new recording security mode.
Last month, Asus took the wraps off its new ZenFone series of smartphones - ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6 - in India. Asus' latest tryst with Android smartphones received an impressive response from the Indian market and the company claimed that it sold 40,000 units of the ZenFone series within 4 days of its debut in the country.
The highlight of ZenFone smartphones was the company's ZenUI skin which runs on top of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The company has already revealed that the Android 4.4 KitKat update for ZenFone series is already in the company's to do list.
