As per Asus, the update to Android 7.0 Nougat brings several new changes to the platform including improved touch performance, removal of "redundant" app shortcuts such as Audio Wizard, Splendid, System update, and Flashlight from apps menu, and Quick Settings now supports
multiple pages. Further, apps like Asus Share and PC Suite have been removed with the update.
Apart from this, the company has added bundled notifications switch with the update for the Asus ZenFone 3 ZE520KL and ZE552KL. This option bundles multiple notifications received from a single app and then allows users to expand this group to see individual messages. Additionally, the Ringtones & Notifications volume bar has now been split into Ringtone and Notifications volume bars in Volume Panel and Sound & Vibration Settings to provide users with more control over sound settings.
