Asus had confirmed its 'Zenvolution' press event at the sidelines of Computex 2016 on May 31 where the company is expected to launch the new ZenFone 3 series of smartphones. Ahead of the official unveiling, Asus has teased the upcoming ZenFone 3 series in a teaser video confirming three handsets will launch including the Asus ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Max.

The 34-seconds YouTube video shared by Asus shows three handsets - first with 'Clarity' tagline, second with 'Desire' tagline, and the third with 'Unlimited.' The official video tips some of the features of the upcoming ZenFone 3 series including a fingerprint scanner at the back, metal frames, and large screen size.

The YouTube video titled 'Zenvolution is coming' has a tagline says, "Get ready to redefine clarity, desirable detail, and unlimited viewing area."

An earlier report citing Asus CEO Jerry Shen suggested that the upcoming ZenFone 3 smartphone series will launch in June and target the mid-range segment. Shen had added that 90 percent of the ZenFone 3 smartphones will have Qualcomm SoCs while 10 percent devices will pack MediaTek SoCs. He further claimed that the ZenFone 3 devices will be available in six countries in August.

Talking possibly about the Max variant of the ZenFone 3, Shen had revealed plans for a Max model under the ZenFone 3 range and added that the ZenFone 3 Max will account for nearly two-thirds of total ZenFone 3 shipments. Some of the other ZenFone 3 variants teased by Shen include the ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3. Talking about competition, Shen had claimed that Asus will compete with Huawei and Oppo in the Chinese market.
