Asus on Friday shared another video teasing the optical zoom feature due in an upcoming smartphone.

Notably, the Taiwanese company in its first teaser video on December 21 had revealed that its next smartphone will come with dual lens setup, something we already saw in HTC's flagship One (M8).

In a Google+ post on Friday, Asus said, "Can you guess the hidden message? It's one of our highlights at #CES2015!" accompanied by a 13-seconds video. The video included a Morse code message comprising of dots and dashes - translating to optical zoom. The company on Sunday revealed that the video teased optical zoom feature and said in comments section below the YouTube video, "The correct answer is Optical Zoom."

The video teaser further tipped the January 5 announcement. We already know that Asus is holding an event on Monday at CES where the company has few products to showcase up its sleeves.

To recall, Asus CEO Jerry Shen had in November revealed that the company planned to introduce the successors to the popular ZenFone series of smartphones - the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6 - at CES 2015.

Last month, an Asus ZenFone smartphone with model ZC451CG and featuring entry-level specifications surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG website. The website said the device was the "successor of hot selling smartphone model- ZenFone."

According to the purported listing, the Asus ZC451CG runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the company's own ZenUI on top; features a 4.5-inch display with an FWVGA (854x480 pixels) resolution; powered by an unspecified dual-core Intel processor; 1GB of RAM; 5-megapixel rear; 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2100mAh battery.
