Xperia Blog first spotted the support page and has posted a bunch of images of Sony support pages that show Android version overviews for smartphones like Xperia SP, Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V and Xperia ZR.
The Sony Xperia SP's support page clearly reveals Android 4.4 KitKat as the 'future version' for the smartphone, while other Xperia smartphones, namely Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V and Xperia ZR are seen listed with 'Under Investigation' Android 4.4 KitKat update.
In addition, the Xperia Blog has also posted support page screenshots for the Xperia Z, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia ZL, which much like the Xperia SP, include Android 4.4 KitKat as their 'future version'.
The Sony support page listing suggests that the Japanese major might be considering the Android 4.4 KitKat update for more Xperia smartphones in the future. As of now, there is no exact time frame provided for the Xperia SP Android 4.4 KitKat update.
Earlier, Sony announced the Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade schedule for Xperia devices via its official blog post and also revealed rollout plans for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that are likely due next month.
As per Sony, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update would be rolled out to devices such as Sony Xperia SP, Sony Xperia Z, Sony Xperia ZL, Sony Xperia ZR, Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Sony Xperia Z1 in December. The company further revealed that Sony Xperia T, Sony Xperia TX and Sony Xperia V would directly jump the software version and get the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, starting next month.
Additionally, as we mentioned earlier, Sony had revealed the Android 4.4 KitKat rollout plan for its top-end Xperia devices that included Sony Xperia Z1, Sony Xperia ZL, Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Sony Xperia Z. However, Sony did not mention a specific timeline for the upcoming Android 4.4 software update.
