Google has been tight-lipped about the release of Android 4.4, the latest iteration of its mobile and tablet operating system, ever since the company announced the new version. Recently however, the company has started teasing customers about Android 4.4 KitKat on Internet.

Now Nestle's KitKat Twitter account has posted an image that shows, "This Is It" and comes with tagline 'Sometimes you have to look for the signs'. The image is also accompanied by Nestle's brand tagline, "Have a break, have a Kit Kat."

While the image may not reveal anything about the upcoming Google's event but as the tagline suggests about 'signs', Pocket-lint notes that the teaser could be a reference to Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' movie that was released on October 28. Though, nothing confirmed by the search engine giant till now.

On Wednesday, Google posted a teaser image to its Google+ page, with a tagline that read, "Everybody dance now!". The image was accompanied by the #AndroidKITKAT hashtag that suggested that Google wants more people to talk about its upcoming Android OS. However, the teaser image did not reveal anything about the launch.

A recent leak detailed Android 4.4 KitKat in screenshots and revealed some important UI changes expected in the next iteration of Android.

A report also suggested that Android 4.4 KitKat would introduce option to set default SMS app. In a blog post Google announced that it would offer a fully supported set of APIs and will make existing APIs public, officially adding support for setting a third-party messaging app as default SMS client via the phone's System Settings.
