A day after the alleged pictures of the next generation iPhone's motherboard appeared online, we're now seeing what could be the next iPhone's display assembly.

Apple focused blog MacRumors, claims to have received a new set of images featuring the iPhone 5S display assembly. While the images do not offer much detail about the device's display, the site mentions that the new image confirms that pictures of the phone's motherboard that leaked a day before, are genuine. The display assembly features one vertically aligned and  another horizontally aligned connectors that correspond to the design of the phone's main board that leaked yesterday. It also suggests that the next generation iPhone will not be very different from the iPhone 5 in terms of the external design but will have bumped up specifications, just like iPhone 4S and 3GS that were improved versions of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G.

It's worth pointing out that these leaks may not be real and what we see in the end could be totally different as well. So, we'll take this with a pinch of salt.

Just a day back, pictures depicting the alleged motherboard of Apple's next generation iPhone had surfaced online. It didn't have any markings for the processor make so it's hard to predict if Apple would use a new processor or continue with the existing line with the A7.

Previously, an image of what was claimed to be a small component of the next generation iPhone's motherboard had leaked online following which there was speculation that the next iPhone could feature a different camera, however, it was later identified as a part of the antenna unit, and experts suggested that it was still very similar to the component found in iPhone 5.

There have been a number of leaks related to new components, including that of a flex cable for the next iPhone's home button and a second flex cable featuring the vibrator and volume/ mute controls, but nothing conclusive in terms of what the new iPhone will look like.
