Adcom on Thursday launched its KitKat A40 smartphone in India, with an MRP of Rs. 4,500 and best buy price of Rs. 2,999. The smartphone will be available from major outlets across India.
The dual-SIM Adcom KitKat A40 features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) LCD display and is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor (unspecified) alongside 256MB of RAM.
Running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, the budget smartphone sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, while it also houses a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The KitKat A40 includes 512MB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). The handset packs a 1650mAh Li-ion battery and measures 126.5x63.5x11.5mm.
The KitKat A40 comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM radio, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It will be available in Black and White colour variants. The smartphone would also come with a free screen guard and back cover worth Rs. 399.

Notably, Adcom in September announced its another Android KitKat-powered smartphone, the KitKat A35, at Rs. 2,799.
