In its second flash on Tuesday, Chinese smartphone and tablet manufacturer Xiaomi has once again tasted success, this time managing to see 50,000 Redmi 1S smartphones go out of stock on Flipkart in just 11 seconds.

Xiaomi, also known as China's Apple, made the announcement via its Mi India Official Twitter handle. Last Tuesday, when the company had once again made both the Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 1S available on the same day, it had seen 20,000 Redmi 1S units go out of stock in 4 seconds.

The Xiaomi Redmi 1S flash sale kicked off at 5pm IST on Tuesday, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G flash sale kicked off at 2pm IST. The Chinese manufacturer has also announced the next flash sale for the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 4G is on January 20 and the registrations for the sale will start 6pm IST on Tuesday.

As for the Redmi Note 4G, the third flash sale on Tuesday saw 50,000 units go out of stock in 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The second flash sale saw 50,000 units of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G going out of stock in just 5 seconds while the first saw 40,000 units of the smartphone going out of stock within six seconds of becoming available. The slow speed of this flash sale could be attributed to the simultaneous flash sale of Micromax's Yu Yureka on Amazon.

Xiaomi started sales of the Redmi 1S again in December after the company received some relief from the Court to sell handsets based on Qualcomm chipsets in India.

To recall, Xiaomi's imports and sales of its smartphones were banned earlier this month with an injunction order served by the Delhi High Court due to a plea by Ericsson, which claimed the Chinese manufacturer was infringing on its Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and refusing to pay licensing fees.

Under the injunction order (following Xiaomi's appeal), the Chinese manufacturer was allowed to import and sell handsets that run on Qualcomm-based chipsets, such as the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 4G.
