Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011. Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Moto G47. The mobile was launched in 29th April 2026. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1604 pixels at a PPI of 264 pixels per inch. The Moto G47 is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1024GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Moto G47 packs a 108-Ultrapixel (f/1.7) + 2-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 8-Ultrapixel (f/2.0) front shooter for selfies. The Moto G47 runs Android 16 and is powered by a 5200mAh non removable battery. It measures 166.23 x 76.50 x 7.85 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 191.00 grams. The Moto G47 is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
