Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011.
Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Moto G Max. The mobile was launched in 14th August 2026. The phone comes with a 6.72-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1800 pixels by 2400 pixels at a PPI of 391 pixels per inch. The Moto G Max is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Moto G Max packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies.The Moto G Max runs Android 16. It measures 166.23 x 76.50 x 8.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 213.00 grams. The Moto G Max is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
