Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011. Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Moto G Max 5G. The mobile was launched in 12th June 2026. The phone comes with a 6.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1272 pixels by 2772 pixels. The Moto G Max 5G is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Moto G Max 5G packs a 200-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Moto G Max 5G runs Android 16 and is powered by a 5200mAh non removable battery. It measures 164.58 x 77.37 x 7.38 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 183.00 grams. The Moto G Max 5G is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
