Maxx was founded in 2004 under the leadership of its Chairman and Managing Director, Ajjay Agarwal. Its products range from feature rich dual-SIM budget feature phones, big battery feature phones, touch feature phones, and Android smartphones. The company has its own manufacturing set up for mobile accessories, in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Maxx Mobile's latest mobile launch is the GenxDroid7 AXD11. The mobile was launched in September 2014. The phone comes with a 4.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 800 pixels.

The Maxx Mobile GenxDroid7 AXD11 is powered by 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor and it comes with 512MB of RAM. The phone packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Maxx Mobile GenxDroid7 AXD11 packs a 3.2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
