Founded in Beijing in 1984, Lenovo acquired IBM's PC business in 2005, and first became the world's top PC maker in 2013. It entered the Android and Windows tablet market in 2011, began selling Android smartphones in 2012, and acquired Motorola Mobility from Google in 2014. The company has also launched an online-only sub-brand for smartphones called Zuk in China. Lenovo's latest mobile launch is the Legion Y70 (2026). The mobile was launched in 19th May 2026. The phone comes with a 6.82-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2048 pixels at a PPI of 510 pixels per inch. The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and it comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) packs a 50-Ultrapixel (f/1.88) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 32-Ultrapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) runs Android 16 and is powered by a 8000mAh non removable battery. The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
