India based Karbonn is a joint venture between Delhi-based Jaina Group and Bangalore-based UTL Group. The company is a manufacturer of both mobile phones and tablets. It is among the biggest smartphone makers in the country. Karbonn was one of the three manufacturers to first bring Google's Android One initiative to India.
Karbonn's latest mobile launch is the Frames S9. The mobile was launched in May 2018. The phone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. The Karbonn Frames S9 is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Karbonn Frames S9 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Karbonn Frames S9 runs Android Nougat and is powered by a 2900mAh. It measures 148.40 x 72.00 x 7.85 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 139.00 grams. The Karbonn Frames S9 is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB OTG. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
