Idea Camera Phones
The Indian telecom provider started the production of Android-based smartphones to create products for its 3G data plans. Idea is one of India's largest telecom operators that offers voice and data services across the country. The company has partnered with companies such as Microsoft to offer carrier billing on purchase of apps. Idea's latest mobile launch is the Ultra+. The mobile was launched in August 2014. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels at a PPI of 195 pixels per inch.
The Idea Ultra+ is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Idea Ultra+ packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Idea Ultra+ runs Android 4.2.2 and is powered by a 2000mAh removable battery.
The Idea Ultra+ is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.
