Founded in 1997 as a laptop manufacturer, Taiwan-based HTC soon began making smartphones based on Windows Mobile and Brew. It released the first commercial Android smartphone, the HTC Dream, in 2008, and is today a manufacturer of both Android and Windows based smartphones. HTC re-entered the tablet market with the Google Nexus 9 in 2014. HTC's latest mobile launch is the U23 Pro. The mobile was launched in 18th May 2023. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2400 pixels by 1080 pixels. The HTC U23 Pro is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the HTC U23 Pro packs a 108-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The HTC U23 Pro runs Android 13 and is powered by a 4600mAh non removable battery. It measures 166.60 x 77.09 x 8.88 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 205.00 grams. The HTC U23 Pro is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
