Founded in 1997 as a laptop manufacturer, Taiwan-based HTC soon began making smartphones based on Windows Mobile and Brew. It released the first commercial Android smartphone, the HTC Dream, in 2008, and is today a manufacturer of both Android and Windows based smartphones. HTC re-entered the tablet market with the Google Nexus 9 in 2014. HTC's latest mobile launch is the Wildfire E2 Plus. The mobile was launched in 16th December 2021. The phone comes with a 6.82-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1,640 pixels at a PPI of 263 pixels per inch.

The HTC Wildfire E2 Plus is powered by octa-core Unisoc T610 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the HTC Wildfire E2 Plus packs a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The HTC Wildfire E2 Plus runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4,600mAh non removable battery. It measures 174.20 x 78.60 x 9.30 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 210.00 grams.

The HTC Wildfire E2 Plus is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor.
