As expected, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone has been launched in India. The new Xiaomi smartphone will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com from Monday onwards in three storage/RAM variants – 2GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 9,999, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant priced at Rs. 10,999, and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,999.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5-inch full-HD display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC. At the rear, there is a 13-megapixel camera sensor with dual-LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. In the front, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel sensor. It sports a large 4100mAh battery, supports VoLTE, and runs on MIUI 8 based android 6.0 Marshmallow.
At this price point and specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will give heavy competition to the Moto G4 Plus, LeEco Le 2, and Lenovo Z2 Plus. The Moto G4 Plus (Review) is available for Rs. 12,499 (16GB) and Rs. 13,999 (32GB) on Amazon India. The device sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display, Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) SoC, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3000mAh battery.
The LeEco Le 2 (Review), in comparison, is available for Rs. 11,999 (32GB) and Rs. 13,999 (64GB) on Snapdeal. It houses a 5.5-inch full-HD display, MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. and a 3000mAh battery.
Lastly, the Lenovo Z2 Plus (Review) is available for Rs. 14,999 (32GB), and Rs. 17,499 (64GB) on Amazon India. It sports a 5-inch full-HD display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3500mAh battery.
