When Is iOS 10 Out? Release Time Across the World

iOS 10 releases on Tuesday, September 13 but the time is obviously different in various parts of the world. While Apple doesn't officially announce the exact time iOS 10 will become, if previous years are any indication, iOS 10 should become available at 10.30pm India Standard Time - that's 6pm in London, 1pm in New York, and 10am in San Francisco.

iOS 10 brings a host of new features such as iMessage apps, much-improved Apple Music, gender diverse emoji and a new design scheme. It also opens up a lot of opportunities for developers. For instance, you'll be able to use Siri to send and read WhatsApp messages. You can also get rid of many pre-loaded apps such as Stocks and Weather on iOS 10.

If you have an iPhone 5 or a newer iPhone, your device will get the update. iPad owners, if you have an iPad (4th generation) or newer iPad, you will be able to download the iOS 10 update. The free update is also available for those who have the iPod touch (6th generation).

As always, we recommend that you take a full backup of your iOS device before downloading the update. If you don't have enough space on your iPhone, then we suggest that you update via iTunes instead of iOS. The process is simple enough and most people should be able to manage this without any hassles.
