Lenovo on Tuesday unveiled the K6 Power smartphone at Rs. 9,999. The new Lenovo K6 Power will go on sale starting December 6 and will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The company, ahead of the launch, heavily promoted the battery prowess of the Lenovo K6 Power.

The 4000mAh battery is indeed the biggest highlight of the K6 Power, and it also comes with reverse charging feature that allows the smartphone to be used as a power bank. However, the Lenovo K6 Power isn't the only smartphone in its category that comes with a large battery. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime (Review) features a slightly larger 4100mAh battery and comes at a pricing of Rs. 8,999; the Coolpad Note 5 packs a 4010mah battery and is available at Rs. 10,999, and the Asus ZenFone Max (2016) (Review) packs a large 5000mAh battery and is available at Rs. 9,999 for the 2GB RAM model.

Lenovo K6 Power and its major rivals in India come with a lot of differences in terms of specifications, and in this post, we will highlight some of them. To start, Lenovo K6 Power features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display, the same resolution as the Coolpad Note 5 which sports a 5.5-inch full-HD screen. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display while the Asus ZenFone Max (2016) sports a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS TFT display.

Under the hood, the K6 Power is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Redmi 3S Prime is powered by the same chipset clocked at 1.1GHz, while packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Coolpad Note 5, on the other hand, is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and comes with 32GB on-board storage. The ZenFone Max (2016) is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.5GHz while comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM models. It packs 32GB of inbuilt storage.

On the design front, the Lenovo K6 Power, Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, and Coolpad Note 5 sport all-metal unibody designs while Asus ZenFone Max (2016) sticks to plastic material for design. The K6 Power, Note 5, and Redmi 3S Prime also come with fingerprint scanners locked at the back panel while the ZenFone Max (2016) misses out on the feature.

On the camera front, all the four smartphones sport 13-megapixel rear cameras. The Lenovo K6 Power and Coolpad Note 5 comes with a combination of 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras. The Asus ZenFone 3 Max (2016) and Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, on the other hand, come with 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. Apart from the camera module, each smartphone comes with its own set of camera features and sensors.
