iPhone 6s, Nexus 5X, Xbox One, PS4, and More Tech Deals

Diwali is almost here and major online retailers are firing deals on all cylinders. We have a list of the best deals in technology this week. Make sure you bundle all your purchases with supported bank offers to get additional discounts wherever possible.

1. Apple iPhone 6s
There's good news for you if you're one of those who waited for the dust to settle before buying the latest iPhone. You can now grab the iPhone 6s at a big discount via Amazon. The 64GB gold variant is down to Rs.65,999 (MRP Rs.72,000) while the space grey variant is available for Rs.66,001. That's a discount of around Rs.6,000 on the launch price, something that wasn't seen previously, with non-cashback offers. On the 128GB variant, the discount gets even bigger. You can grab the gold 128GB variant of the iPhone 6s at just Rs.72,555 (MRP Rs.82,000). The space grey variant of the iPhone 6s 128GB is also available at Rs.72,777. The prices will fluctuate a little but the discount would remain at the same price point. This is probably the best time to grab an iPhone 6s.

2. Xbox One Console with Kinect
The Xbox One console with Kinect - Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle is available at a discounted price of Rs.39,990 (MRP Rs.45,990) on Amazon. The Windows 10 upgrade is about to hit the Xbox One, and over the last one year there have been continuous improvements to the console's operating system. All that matched with powerful hardware on the Xbox One, it's still a pretty good deal. If you are willing to pay a premium for the exclusive games, the Xbox One will not disappoint you. This variant includes Kinect which allows you to access gesture driven controls. You'll also get a 500GB hard drive, HDMI cable, One Chat headset, wireless controller, and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial card. You can also get an additional Rs.1,500 off if you use an American Express/ Standard Chartered/ Yes Bank card to make a payment.

3. Sony PlayStation 4
Now that the official prices have been dropped on the PlayStation 4, the Diwali discounts are only going to make the price tag sweeter. Flipkart is selling the PlayStation 4 500GB console for Rs.29,990 (MRP Rs.32,990). That's one of the lowest prices on the console in a non-cashback offer. Bundle it with the SBI cards offer and you could get an additional 10% discount (maximum Rs.1,500 off). Now it can't get better than this! If you're eyeing the 1TB variant, Amazon has a few units selling at Rs.36,490 (MRP Rs.39,990). It comes with two free games - God of War Remastered and Infamous Second Son. If you need a large storage option, the 1TB variant would be perfect for you.

4. LG Nexus 5X 16GB
The new Nexus 5X 16GB is down to Rs.27,500 (MRP Rs.31,990) for a limited time. That's a pretty good discount for a smartphone that's just recently hit the market. The Nexus 5X comes with a 5.2-inch FHD IPS display running at a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, which includes 2GB RAM and a hexa-core processor. The Nexus 5X comes with a 12.3MP primary camera which is capable of capturing 4K video and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls. The smartphone runs Android 6 (Marshmallow) right out of the box. If you are in the market for a pure Android experience, the Nexus 5X is one of the best smartphones for you. It's a significant upgrade over the Nexus 5, and one of the finest Nexus devices to come out in a long time.

5. Apple iPad mini 2 16GB
If you are in the market for a smaller tablet that just works, and still comes at a sub Rs.20,000 price point, the iPad mini 2 16GB can be bought for Rs.18,465 (MRP Rs.21,900) this week. The iPad mini 2 comes with a 7.9-inch display which features a pixel density of 326 ppi (pixels per inch). The tablet is powered by Apple's A7 processor, supported by 1GB of RAM and the M7 motion co-processor. The iPad mini 2 is just 7.5mm thin and promises up to 10 hours of usage on a full charge. The tablet also comes with a 5MP camera in case taking photos with a tablet is your thing, and there's a front-facing camera for video calls too.

6. Moto X (Gen 2)
Flipkart is offering an additional Rs.5,000 off on the Moto X (Gen 2). The price is now down to Rs.14,999 (MRP Rs.19,999) for a limited period. That makes the second-generation Moto X a pretty good deal in this price point. The Moto X (Gen 2) features a 5.2-inch full HD display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 801 SoC which includes a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, supported by 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 4.4.4 out of the box and includes a 2300 mAh battery. There's a 13MP primary camera at the back and a 2MP front-facing camera. The primary camera also comes with a dual-LED ring flash for taking photos in the dark.
