At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei launched its newest flagship smartphones - the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. The new devices improve on last year's P9 and P9 Plus, especially in the camera department, which continues the company's partnership with Leica. We spent some time with the devices at MWC 2017 and you can check out our first look in the video below.

The Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus come with a starting price of EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 45,700) and EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 49,200), respectively. The 6GB variant of the Huawei P10 Plus is priced at EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 56,300).

Talking about the design, the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus sport a Hyper Diamond-cut finishing that prevents scratches and smudges. On the right you get the volume controls and a red power button while the bottom sees a USB Type-C post, headphone jack and a single speaker grille. The Home Button on the front houses the fingerprint scanner and also comes with some interesting gesture controls. Chamfered edges run along the front face of the phone which is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. Over at the back, you see a smooth rounded design with antenna lines pushed to the edges and the Leica-branded dual camera setup sitting on the top, similar to the P9 and P9 Plus.

Coming to the specifications, both the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus share some similar features including a HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC (4x Cortex-A73 and 4x Cortex-A53) with an integrated Cat 2/11 modem and Mali-G71MP GPU. Both the devices are offered with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with the P10 Plus also getting a 6GB RAM and 128GB configuration. Both the handsets also support storage expansion via microSD card (up to 256GB).

There are a number modes available as well as manual control of ISO, exposure, RAW output, shutter speed, white balance and more.

Both the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus sport an 8-megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and 2x brightness. The dual-SIM devices run Android 7.1 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1 OS.
