BQ is a Spanish consumer electronics and software development company. BQ claims to have launched the world's first smartphone running Ubuntu OS. The device runs a version of Linux distro Ubuntu's OS optimised for smartphones. The company has also made a smartphone for people with reduced mobility. It has offices in Europe and China. BQ's latest mobile launch is the Aquaris A4.5. The mobile was launched in September 2015. The phone comes with a 4.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 pixels by 960 pixels at a PPI of 244 pixels per inch.
The BQ Aquaris A4.5 is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the BQ Aquaris A4.5 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The BQ Aquaris A4.5 runs Android 5.1.1 and is powered by a 2470mAh non removable battery. It measures 63.48 x 131.77 x 8.75 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 115.00 grams.
The BQ Aquaris A4.5 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Regular and Regular. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
