Vivo Electronics Corp. is a phone brand based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. It was founded in 2009. The company is another Chinese smartphone maker to enter India recently. It makes low-cost Android phones, and those in the mid-range segment of the market. All of these are available in India too.
Vivo's latest mobile launch is the V50. The mobile was launched in 17th February 2025. The phone comes with a 6.77-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2392 pixels at a PPI of 387 pixels per inch. The Vivo V50 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and it comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB, 256GB, 512GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo V50 packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.88) + 50-megapixel (f/2.0) primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) front shooter for selfies. The Vivo V50 runs Android 15 and is powered by a 6000mAh non removable battery. It measures 163.29 x 76.72 x 7.39 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 189.00 grams. The Vivo V50 is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
