Realme is an offshoot of the Chinese brand Oppo, and aims to provide smartphones under Rs. 20,000 for the "young people around the world." It is led by former Oppo Global VP Sky Li and was launched in May 2018.
Realme's latest mobile launch is the 16 Pro+ 5G. The mobile was launched in 6th January 2026. The phone comes with a 6.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,280 pixels by 2,800 pixels. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and it comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB, 256GB, 512GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G packs a 200-megapixel (f/1.8) + 50-megapixel (f/2.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel (f/2.4) front shooter for selfies. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G runs Android 16 and is powered by a 7,000mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.50 x 76.30 x 8.49 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 203.00 grams. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Active 4G on both SIM cards and 4G. Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Temperature sensor.
