OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company's claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too.
OnePlus's latest mobile launch is the 13. The mobile was launched in 31st October 2024. The phone comes with a 6.82-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 3168 pixels at a PPI of 510 pixels per inch. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus 13 packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.6) + 50-megapixel (f/2.6) + 50-megapixel (f/2.0) primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel (f/2.4) front shooter for selfies. The OnePlus 13 runs Android 15 and is powered by a 6000mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.90 x 76.50 x 8.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 210.00 grams. The OnePlus 13 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
