I am using it for a year. High performance phone for such a cheap price. People think that Micromax are Chinese and will not work well but they are wrong. I am able to play all the latest graphic rich games with ease such as GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, Need for Speed Run, etc. No lag while playing games.

  • Good phone- Poor support from micromax
Rahul Joshi (May 27, 2014) on Gadgets 360
Micromax had come up with this mobile after the canvas 2 ,adding some extra features to it like quad-core ,improved camera and sensors.I had been using it for past 6 months .It has a poor built, good response ,great speed(Quad-core 1.2Ghz) and best thing about it is it is affordable .As the company had promised about the update 4.2.1 they have provided it after their launch of this mobile, but now they are promising the kit-kat (4.4.x)update for Canvas Series will arrive in early second quarter of 2014.If they update it it'll be a great phone.I have no other problem using this phone.I have played many great big games in it like nfsmw, front line commando .etc, and it didn't lag.If used with launcher it is a great phone....I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

  • 5 inches display at low cost with top indian brand a better performance.
Lukesh Nimkar (May 31, 2014) on Gadgets 360
Micromax Canvas 2+ has given a challenge to all company makes to bring their phones at lowcost having 5 inch display. Although phone is giving high hardware specification but its performance is not so high. Phone is bulky but it does not look too much ugly. Border of screen is annoying, because it makes feel that if they decreased border size, screen size could be increased. Yes, the camera of 8 mp is as good as samsung 5 mp camera but its 2 mp camera is worst, you cant find your face in slight shadow. Talking about its 1.2 GHz Mediatek processor and 1gb of ram phone is good enough to do multi tasking but while playing huger games it lags. Touch response is not as good as samsung or sony. Also the stock UI is not so impressive. I like the battery capability, because having a mild usage of email checking and using whatsapp phone run upto day and a half. I would recommend to people having confined budget and also aggressively seeking a 5 inch display phone.
