I got this phone for $0 (free) and it is worth every penny. I went from a Samsung S8+ to this phone and there is a significant difference in quality.
-This phone uses a processor that is easily 4 generations (i.e., "four years") old. It is slow, it is sluggish.
- BIGGEST DEFICIENCY (of many): It has only 2GB of RAM. 1.6GB of it is used ONLY by the Android operating system. This means anytime you switch apps, it will take the app a while to load as there is no "room" for it to be running in the background. This is very frustrating when switching between your text messaging app, to the browser, to music, and back to messaging because of how much waiting you're doing. And if you are trying to switch back-n-forth to reference information between apps (say using your browser to look at billing statements, and then going to your bank's app) you'll loose your place in each app because it has to reload EVERYTHING again.
-The camera SUCKS. It is very susceptible to blurring; even shallow breathing or minor hand movement "smears" photos. Photos are grainy and washed out. My first android smart phone was just as good as this one and that was back in 2010.
+ Screen is acceptable in low-light. But in day-light it is very hard to see. This is like most phones, so not too bad of a knock against it.
-Speakers are barely audible when watching youtube/netflix.
+ When on a call (not speaker phone), the ear speaker is sufficient and call quality is clear. Microphone is clear for whomever is on the other end of your phone call.
- Battery life is good IF you're not using the phone for games or video viewing. If you are doing those things, you'll see the battery going down quite quickly.
+ User Experience: Standard Android with no "bloatware". This is nice compared to Samsung with all the extra "features", "interfaces", and "apps" that they pre-load.
+ Has a built-in FM Radio receiver and app. I missed that on my old Samsung phones. Glad to have it here while I am working but get no data signal.
Final Thoughts: It is a perfectly fine phone if you are low-income and can't afford buying a better one. It's a fine phone if you don't want a smartphone for anything more than a phone that you can use to browser the internet and take a call. Otherwise, it is outdated, slow, clunky, bad a just about everything that isn't phone-call related. There is a reason why MetroPCS, Boost, and Cricket give this away FREE.

New and being reviewed, development. linking is more automatic, and the uses may be confusing.

This is the best phone I've ever had. You get more than what you pay for. I've had it for 6 months I use over 30 gigs of data a month on it and it's never given me one issue.
